Joy Moore  Joy Moore / Hatha Yoga on Mondays

Joy’s Hatha Yoga class focuses on relaxation and stress reduction through gentle asanas (body movement) coordinated with pranayama (breath work) and guided meditation.  This class is great for beginning yoga students or good for a continuing yoga student who wants to deepen their practice.  Joy’s many years of teaching experience help her create the perfect environment for revitalizing your energy both physically and mentally. Come join her group class Monday evenings at 5:45 p.m. 

Joy is a registered Hatha Yoga instructor (RYT) with Yoga Alliance.  She has received her 200 hour certification through Half Moon Yoga Studio owned by Catherine Deans and continues to work on her 300 hour training.  Joy was originally certified in 1999 through the Yoga Unlimited Studio run by Leslie Hanks.

Beth has been a certified group fitness instructor since 1994 and a hatha yoga instructor since 1998. She teaches a gentle yet challenging style of yoga with emphasis on form and fully experiencing each pose. Variations are shown for poses, enabling people of all skill levels, including beginners, to participate in practice. It is her belief that mindfulness of our breath and the sensations we feel in our bodies will give us the greatest benefit.
